MULTAN: England’s cricket team has arrived in Pakistan to play Test match series against the host country.
Officials in the Pakistan Cricket Board told News Diplomacy that the British team landed at Multan and would rest there for two days before going for practice.
According to the PCB officials, Pakistan and England would play three Test matches.
Officials said that the first Test match would be played at Multan cricket stadium from October 7. The second Test match would also be played at Multan from October 15 to 19.
The third and final test match has been scheduled to start from October 24 at the Rawalpindi cricket ground in Rawalpindi.
Before the arrival of the British team, the cricket team of Bangladesh visited Pakistan and played one day internationals as well as three Test matches. The Bangladesh team whitewashed Pakistan by winning all the three Test matches.
