Federal Board announce matric result, watch result on News Diplomacy

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has announced the results of matric examinations on the basis of previous performance, with a pass percentage of 91 percent.

In the results of the examinations of the FBISE, the female students in the science and arts group maintained the tradition and secured the first positions. A total of 93,304 students participated in the matriculation examinations out of which 85,151 have passed.

Khansha Yaqub and Manahel Khan bagged the first position with 1097 marks in Science group while Ayesha Ali bagged the first position with 1043 marks in Arts group.

Chairman Federal Board Atiq Ahmed said that the Federal Board has announced the results for the first time in the country. It was a difficult step to compile the results but the orders of the Ministry of Education were followed.

In view of the Corona epidemic, it was decided not to take the exams. Thus, according to the performance of the ninth class, the students of the tenth class were given three percent extra marks.
