ISLAMABAD: While the US has stopped all aid programs across the world after the taking over of President Donald Trump, a high-level delegation of American investors has arrived in Pakistan on a two-day visit.
According to sources, the delegation is being led by a Texas hedge fund manager and the Trump family’s business partner. A number of investment agreements were also signed during the visit.
This is the first visit of any US delegation to Pakistan after the inauguration of President Donald Trump. The US investors’ delegation were told at a briefing that Pakistan had a very conducive environment for investment in various sectors.
The United States has also stopped aid to Pakistan, halting many important projects. It should be noted that like many countries of the world, US officials have also confirmed the cessation of aid to Pakistan and have stopped many important projects.
In this situation, the visit of the US delegation is being described in Islamabad as a positive development for the bilateral ties in different sectors in both the countries.
