KARACHI: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman here stated that neither the 2018 nor 2024 elections were constitutional and that fresh general elections should be conducted.
Speaking at a press conference in Karachi alongside the governor of Sindh, Maulana Fazlur Rehman emphasized Pakistan’s unity against terrorism and the importance of strengthening the country’s defense forces.
He said that the rule of law and respect for Parliament must be upheld, noting a decline in the country’s judicial and trade rankings.
