An Israeli human rights group Hamoked has said that Israel is holding over 1,200 Palestinians without charge or trial, the highest number in over three decades.
The group in its report said that the detainees are being held without trial and under allegations that Israeli authorities keep secret.
Hamoked said this makes it nearly impossible for detainees or their lawyers to mount a proper defense.
