WASHINGTON: World’s richest person and the founder of Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk has left the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) set up by President Donald Trump’s administration.
The American newspapers reported Elon Musk’s withdrawal from the government role and said that Trump had informed the cabinet and close people about Musk’s quiting the post.
The American newspapers claimed that Musk and President Trump decided that the world’s richest man should look at his business again.
President Trump appointed Elon Musk to head the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) soon after winning the Presidential elections.
According to the US media, the withdrawal from the government role was not confirmed by Musk’s team or the White House.
