LAHORE: Police have arrested stage actress Samra Rana on charges of torturing and sexually assaulting a 14-year-old domestic worker.
According to police, a case of assault was registered at Nawab Town Police Station in Lahore. At Samra Rana’s residence, five individuals allegedly subjected the 14-year-old girl to sexual abuse.
Police further stated that Samra Rana is accused of torturing and intimidating the domestic worker, while unidentified suspects also recorded videos of the alleged abuse.
Officials confirmed that investigations are ongoing, and efforts are being made to arrest the other suspects involved in the case.
