BARCELONA: The cultural diversity of Pakistan was showcased at an event held at the consulate of Pakistan in Barcelona, Spain.
Representatives of Spain’s political, cultural and other organizations attended the ‘Pakistan Culture’ program in a large number and they were all praise for the diversity of the culture of Pakistan.
Two Pakistani artists and singers, Niaz Hunzai and Humera Javed were there to add colors to the event and won accolades from the audience for their performance. Hunzai also mesmerized the participants by singing songs in different languages of Gilgit-Baltistan. He also presented Naat Sharif, Tajdar e Haram and won more accolades.
The event was chaired by Pakistan’s consul general at Barcelona Murad Ali Wazir while Ambassador Dr Zahoor Ahmed was the chief guest.
Both the artists were presented Sindhi Ajrak by Spanish guests of the cultural event.
The participants praised the organizers for arranging the program and said Pakistan is a country of many wonders and was famous the world over for its mesmerizing beauty and cultural richness.
They said such events would not only be instrumental in promotion of tourism in the country but would also enhance the soft image of Pakistan abroad
