More destructions in store for India, Pakistan tells US

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has made it clear that if India tried to further provoke it by violating its sovereignty, it would see more destruction and mayhem.

Islamabad has conveyed this message to the US and other major power as well.

Following heightened military tensions between India and Pakistan, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio held a telephonic conversation with Pakistan’s Army Chief General Asim Munir and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar to discuss the unfolding situation.

The conflict intensified when, on the night of May 6 and 7, India launched attacks on five locations across Pakistan and Azad Kashmir. In response, Pakistani forces retaliated strongly. Despite repeated warnings from Islamabad, Indian aggression continued, escalating further with missile strikes targeting Pakistani air bases following a series of drone attacks.

In a decisive counteraction, Pakistan reportedly destroyed several Indian airfields, including Udhampur, Adampur, and Pathankot air bases. In addition, Pakistan launched a cyberattack on an electric company in Maharashtra, crippling the region’s power grid and jamming a military satellite.

Pakistani drones also flew for several hours over the Indian state of Gujarat, the home state of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Furthermore, Pakistan claims to have destroyed the Bathinda airfield, intensifying the scale of the conflict.

The situation remains highly volatile, with fears of a broader military confrontation looming. Diplomatic efforts are underway to de-escalate the crisis.
