WASHINGTON: Pakistan on Tuesday strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a concert hall in Russia that left over 140 people dead and many others injured.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States Masood Khan during a visit to the Russian embassy in Washington expressed condolences over the dastardly attack on the Moscow concert hall.
The ambassador said that Pakistan had always condemned terrorism everywhere in the world as the country had been a victim of terrorism for decades. Pakistan has been in the forefront of the war against terrorism and lost thousands of its civilians and security forces.
Recording his condolences, the ambassador expressed solidarity with the Russian Federation and its people and said Pakistan condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
“Russian grief is our grief because time and again Pakistan has also been made target of terrorism.”
Russian Ambassador Anatoly Antonov thanked Ambassador Masood Khan for his visit and said the menace of terrorism was an international issue and joint efforts were needed for its eradication.
