NEW YORK: In a historic cultural milestone, Pakistan’s Ustad Fareed Ayaz and Abu Muhammad Qawwal Brothers performed at The Town Hall, marking the first time Pakistani artists have ever been presented at the iconic New York venue.

The landmark event, titled “For the Love of God!”, celebrated the universal language of music and spiritual harmony.

In a unique cross-cultural collaboration, the legendary qawwali ensemble shared the stage with acclaimed American gospel group Chorale Le Chateau, delivering a spellbinding performance that highlighted the shared roots of Qawwali and Gospel music.

Speaking at the event, Consul General of Pakistan in New York, Mr. Aamer Ahmed Atozai, congratulated the artists and praised the organizers for hosting the visionary collaboration.

“We are deeply proud to see Pakistan’s celebrated qawwals, Ustad Fareed Ayaz and Abu Muhammad, make history as the first Pakistani artists ever presented by The Town Hall,” said the Consul General.
