Asifa Butto to run for NA seat vacated by father

President's daughter obtains nomination papers for NA-207 in Nawabshah.

KARACHI: President Asif Ali Zardari’s daughter Asifa Bhutto will be contesting by-election for a National Assembly seat in Nawabshah, Sindh.

The seat NA-207 has been vacated by Mr Zardari after he became the president of Pakistan. The by-election on the seat will be held on April 21.

Soon after taking oath as the president, Mr Zardari also decided to make Asifa as the First Lady of Pakistan. Ms Asifa was in the forefront in the election drive of her brother and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in the recently-held general elections.
