Saudi Arabia resumes international flights as borders open

Saudi Arabia has reopened its closed borders to curb the spread of the corona virus, as well as resuming international flights.

According to Arab media, after the emergence of a new strain of the corona virus, Saudi Arabia banned travel abroad and restricted air operations to passengers from different countries. However, after completing security measures, the Saudi government have resumed flights.

According to the Saudi Interior Ministry, in view of the report issued by the Ministry of Health, it has been decided that the decision to demarcate the borders does not need to be further extended, so from today, all international flights will be resumed and arrivals by sea was also restored.

It should be noted that the ban was imposed by the Saudi government for one week on December 20, but it was extended for another week.
