Sikh Day Parade depicts culture, traditions of community

New York City Mayor Eric Adams attends event and congratulates Sikh community of USA.

NEW YORK: The Sikh community of the United States celebrated the 37th Sikh Day Parade at Midtown in New York City with traditional fervor.

The annual event was marked by a variety of programs including floats depicting the religion, culture and traditions of the vibrant Sikh community.

Members and leaders of the Sikh community attended the event in a large number.

Sikh elders and leaders on the occasion said that the community living around the world were united under a single platform in order to achieve their rights and objectives.

The parade is the largest event of the Sikh community in the area which us held on the eve of the Besakhi festival.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams specially attended the parade. He congratulated the Sikh community of the USA on the occasion of the Sikh Day Parade.
