International experts warn of ‘genocide’ of 200 million Muslims in India

WASHINGTON: International human rights experts have expressed the threat of systematic genocide of 200 million Muslims in India.

A discussion on “Genocide and the Ten Stages of Indian Muslims in India” was organized by the Indian American Muslim Council in Washington, D.C. Stanton said there was a risk of “genocide” of millions of Muslims under the supervision of the Indian government.

Dr. Gregory Stanton said that genocide of Muslims is really going on in India, while oppression of Muslims in Kashmir and Assam was a pre-massacre phase, organized crimes against humanity by Modi government are continuing and the martyrdom of Babri Masjid and the construction of the temple at this place is a link in the same chain.

The head of Genocide Watch said local police had detained hundreds of people and charged them with violence in the wake of the Delhi riots. Similarly, human rights expert Tina Ramirez said the persecution of Muslims had affected their economic situation worse, however, the situation in India is still dire.

Human rights expert Teesta Settlewood said Indian Muslims suffer from constant fear and insecurity, oppression of Muslims is deteriorating social and economic conditions, and mobs have resorted to violence over false allegations of selling beef.

During the discussion, Dr. Elias, a human rights expert, said that the Indian government, which claims to be the largest democracy, is oppressing 14% of its population. India is not only denying the human and constitutional rights of Muslims but also using various excuses.
