Kulbhushan Yadav Case: Pak once again approach India for a lawyer

Pakistan has once again approached India regarding the review appeal against the sentence of Indian spy Kulbhushan Yadav. According to Foreign Office spokesperson Ayesha Farooqi, Modi government and Kulbhushan Yadav have been offered again for lawyer.

Foreign Office spokesperson Ayesha Farooqi told in a weekly media briefing on Thursday that Pakistan had offered to Indian spy and Modi government for a lawyer in the review case for the conviction of Kulbhushan Yadav on the direction of the Islamabad High Court, while India has not responded yet, Pakistan is waiting for an Indian response.

During the media briefing, the Foreign Office spokesperson strongly condemned the Indian atrocities and grave human rights violations in occupied Kashmir and said that 8 million Kashmiris have been imprisoned in their homes for a year.

FO’s spokesperson said “we are grateful of all memeber, especially China for convening the special session of the UN Security Council. China and Turkey issued statements on the Kashmir issue, and solidarity with Kashmiris and anti-India rallies were held in Europe and around the world, she added.

She said, Pakistan has released a political map reiterating its position on Kashmir, while rejecting the Indian Foreign Ministry’s statement in this regard. The Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister have discussed the political map since the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Ms. Ayesha added.

Spokesperson of the FO said that the Kashmir issue and Palestine are on its agenda while the OIC has always sided with Pakistan on the Kashmir issue. They condemn the move to build a Ram temple instead of the Babri Masjid, she furhter said.

Ayesha Farooqi said that they are determined to respond to any attack from Afghanistan. A Pakistani child was also martyred in the Lebanon blasts,she said.

However, new Foreign Office spokesman Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry also attended the briefing.
