Pakistani-American Doctors Bring Pride to Pakistan: Ambassador

NEW YORK: Ambassador of Pakistan to the United States Rizwan Saeed Sheikh attended the 2026 Spring Meeting of the Association of Physicians of Pakistani-descent of North America in New Jersey.

The ambassador was accompanied by the Consul General of Pakistan in New York, Aamer Ahmed Atozai.

The event was attended by a large number of Pakistani-origin physicians, surgeons, specialists, healthcare professionals, and medical consultants from across North America.

Addressing the gathering, the ambassador highly commended APPNA for its outstanding contributions in the fields of healthcare, medical education, philanthropy, humanitarian assistance, and community welfare.

He noted that Pakistani-American medical professionals have brought pride to Pakistan through their dedication, excellence, and service in their respective fields.

The Ambassador urged members of the Pakistani diaspora to remain closely connected to their roots and continue contributing towards Pakistan’s progress.

He also encouraged them to explore investment opportunities in Pakistan, highlighting the country’s improving economic environment and strong potential for profitable business ventures.
