Euro Village festival organized in Islamabad

Participants get opportunity to experience European culture, music and food.

ISLAMABAD: Euro Village, a family festival, was organized by the European Union in Islamabad on Saturday.

The festival, themed as “Stronger Together – Sustainable Forever” highlighted European Union’s role in development, trade and investment, culture, education, environment and other sectors of Pakistan.

This was the fifth edition of Euro Village organized for residents of Islamabad and Rawalpindi to give them an opportunity to experience European culture, music and food.

Live performances by Pakistani artists such Farhan Saeed and Quratulain Baloch mesmerized the audience.

An EU-Pakistan Dosti truck was displayed at the event blending the well-known Pakistani truck art with European symbols and designs.
