DUBAI: Amid media reports and social media claims, Emirati officials have. denied allegations that Pakistani nationals are being selectively or forcibly deported from the United Arab Emirates.
They reiterated that all immigration and enforcement actions in the UAE are carried out strictly under the law and apply equally to all nationalities without discrimination on the basis of race, religion, or background.
The clarification comes after an international media report triggered online debate about alleged deportations of Pakistani citizens. No official statement has been issued by the UAE government regarding these claims so far.
Officials and analysts close to UAE authorities stressed that local laws and security regulations are implemented uniformly for all residents.
They also pointed to clarifications from Pakistan’s Ministry of Interior, which stated that any action taken against Pakistani nationals abroad is generally linked to visa violations, legal matters, or security concerns rather than any targeted policy.
